Christchurch is the main international airport
of the South Island. The driving time from Christchurch to
Wanaka is 6 and a half hours. If travelling from Australia

the next closest airport with flights from Sydney and Brisbane.
Fly to Queenstown and either hire a car at the airport or
use one of the local shuttle bus/coach services to get to

Warbirds over Wanaka is the official book of
the airshow 2004. The book is a photographic record of the
